Takaragaike Park, in Kyoto City.

The Building beyond the pond is Kyoto international conference center.

High mountain behind is Mt.Hiei which is the highest in Kyoto pref.

If you stay at Grand Prince Hotel Kyoto, why do not you try to go? The park is very near the hotel.

You can see the green bonfire stand. Matsugasaki is famous for Daimonji Okuribi (the Great Bonfire Event held on August 16). 

Daimonji Okuribi is the folk event which is the farewell ceremony to send back the ancestral spirits who came back to this world during the Bon Festival to the next world once again.
